The Second Interest Meeting

A gentle reminder to all that the second interest meeting of the Virginia Maritime Heritage Society and Conservation Association will continue to be held on November 5th. This is a week away. We will meet out front of the Mariners Museum and hopefully if Dr. Boradwater can still attend we might tour the facilities. If he can not make it to the meeting we will either tour the Museum as a group or individually before we have a business meeting either at the Museum cafeteria or a nearby cafe or deli. I will be coming down as I have promised my fiance to show her the Museum as this is her first time in the USA. I hope to see as many of you make this meeting as possible as I plan to be more active in this area as my M.A. thesis in Maritime Archaeology on the use of time on the Swedish warship Vasa under the directorship of Thijs Maarleveld and Fred Hocker is under final review, and I am looking for employment in this field on the east coast of the US, preferably Virginia.

Best to all!
